Takin' A Break

  Lefty's Records will be closed the week of July 4th.  I will celebrate my Mom's 90th birthday, the 4th of July, and the Zoo Bar's 40th.  I hope to get some work done around my house also.  Lefty's Records will re-open on Tuesday, July 9th.  I also will have an order of new vinyl that day and will post what I'm getting next weekend.
       Some great acts appearing at the Zoo Bar 40th Anniversary week.  For me, can't miss ones are Dave Alvin and the Paladins.  Other acts I've seen that put on good shows are Billy Bacon tonight, the Bel Airs, James Harman, Tinsley Ellis, and Junior Brown.  Local acts Universe Contest, Josh Hoyer, Lloyd McCarter, Tijuana Gigolos, and the Self-Righteous Brothers (playing their last show) all put on good shows.  I'm sure the many others will be good and I'm looking forward to seeing some for the first time.  Happy Holidays!
